The new design of the DO-RA application

Due to the upcoming launch of the universal indicators of ionizing radiation with the function of the dosimeter-radiometer industrial production, developers and designers from PJSC "Intersoft Eurasia", (Skolkovo resident, Nuclear Technologies Cluster) have significantly re-designed DO-RA mobile application.

It should be noted that by the end of 2015, Intersoft Eurasia is preparing the release of the test batch of the cross-platform DO-RA.Q devices in China. This model works with the key mobile platforms: iOS, Android, WP, Tizen etc., and in this regard, anyone could place a pre-order for the purchase of this model using our website: http://intersofteurasia.ru

There is also a pre-order option inside the DO-RA mobile application (Settings section). This application is available at the most popular online app-stores for free download, in particular, you could find it at: App Store, Google Play, WP Market. According to official statistics, today the DO-RA application has been already downloaded by more than 200,000 users worldwide on their smartphones and tablets. Intersoft Eurasia team developers have recently become familiar with a new Tizen platform, an innovative development of Samsung Company. The DO-RA application running on the gathering strength Korean OS would be soon available at Tizen Software Store.       

The new DO-RA app has been designed with taking into account comments left by the users at online app-stores where this application is available, as well as with taking into consideration the new DO-RA.Q functions. For example, you can find the options of product’s operation self-test, visual charging level control; moreover, more handy visualization of the radiation background analysis and measurements’ timelines has been developed. In addition, the process of information and photos (with geo-coordinates, date and received radiation dose of the measured object) synchronization with social networks through the application has become much easier and more convenient, and it is not the full list of added changes.      

The DO-RA app still speaks more than 20 world languages and automatically switches to smartphone’s language that makes it more comfortable for the user.

About the Project:

The idea of ​​the DO-RA device creation has been emerged on 29 March 2011, after writing an article "Our Radioactive World" by Vladimir Elin, dedicated to the nuclear accident at Fukushima, Japan. It has been turned out that there was no analogue of the mobile phone, smartphone and dosimeter-radiometer hybrid in the form in which it was possible to create the summary of invention  for the DO-RA utility model and later get a number of Russian and foreign patents for the devices working on the basis of mobile phone / smartphone. Actually, the originality of the DO-RA device is that there are no analogues of the device which has obtained the first Russian patent for the utility model. Today, Vladimir Elin has patents and priorities for the originality and reproducibility of the DO-RA device in Russia, the USA, Japan, South Korea, India, the European Union and other jurisdictions. Priority is dated on June 24, 2011.

The name DO-RA was born on the first two letter combinations of the words: dozimeter-radiometer or DO-RA. The Russian and English versions of the abbreviations are consonant; it gives an additional recognition for the name of the device.
