Intersoft Eurasia at MWC in Barcelona
At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) – the main industry event in the area of mobile technologies which takes place every year at the beginning of spring in Barcelona – there was one of few Russian companies, JSC Intersoft Eurasia which took part in the exhibition at Skolkovo Technology Park exhibition stand.
The key tendencies observed during the Mobile World Congress are the follows:
- The market of mobile devices which are mobile phones, smartphones, tablet PCs and other electronic devices continues to develop rapidly; nowadays it is the most important market for manufacturers of electronic devices at which, for instance, the quantity of produced smartphones for the first time has exceeded one billion pieces!
- On top of the
above-mentioned the key tendencies are that the mobile devices become more and more
multifunctional, integrated in the environment and help us to solve our
everyday tasks at work and at home. Sensors mounted in different mobile devices
help their users to monitor parameters essential for their health, for example,
to control the calorie intake with food, the level of physical activity,
cardiac rhythm and other human’s key parameters.
- A new class of Internet things connected via Internet networks and designed for monitoring of smart homes different parameters with the different sensors experiences a boom.
- Within this framework different sensors find a wider application in such field as our health protection, in particular, ionization radiation sensors DO-RA allowing to control risks of disease incidence as a result of excessive ionization and solar radiation impact on human body and different organs. Every person is affected by excessive radiation during normal air flights in which the level of ionization radiation can exceed the natural rate in 20-30 times! In general more than 1 billion people use the air transport annually; and this figure is continuously growing from year to year.
Excessive radiation impact is also harmful to people living in bad environment in the radioactive contamination areas and in contact with natural construction materials with increased background radiation, in case of certain medical procedures and as a result of technogenic catastrophes connected to "Atoms for Peace".
- Intersoft Eurasia with its proprietary DO-RA project turned out to be the only Russian company included in Google program of the modular smartphone ARA pilot launch in the world market.

park resident, Master of Science Vladimir Elin, met on the Congress fringes with
the Head of
Design and Logistics Department of ARA/Google Project Mr. Anil Rachakonda.
In the business-friendly atmosphere of the Mobile World Congress Vladimir Elin and Mr. A. Rachakonda discussed the issues connected with status of JSC Intersoft Eurasia modular devices for modular ARA smartphone and, in particular, devices for food products dosimetry and different materials and also devices for radiation situation analysis – ARA smartphones with DO-RA.Module. They discussed ways of DO-RA.Module application for environmental monitoring with the deeper integration of surrounding radiation data into Google maps, and also the possibility of using protected Google accounts for storage and operation of personal data according to DO-RA personal module operation profile.
They discussed separately the idea of creation of a radio module with multi-SIM block to make possible the work with several mobile operators with one smartphone and using the multi-SIM technology for storage and operation of personal data such as electronic passport, driving license and for communication in M2M mode with sensors, smart home devices etc.
Following the results of meeting they agreed to intensify their cooperative efforts to be able to release DO-RA Module devices by October 2015 in order to participate with DO-RA.Modules in pilot ARA project launched by Google in Puerto Rico, USA at the end of the current year.
